With its removable Bluetooth remote, the Selfy case lets you take as many self-portraits as you want without touching your iPhone.

Self-portraits made easier

The Selfy case by iLuv, available for Apple iPhone 5/5S and Samsung Galaxy S5, has a removable remote shutter release for snapping self-portraits or anything else where you don't want to hold the phone while taking pictures.

Slide it on out

The remote slides in and out easily and there's a small rounded pin that helps keep it from falling out.

The remote adds some bulk to the case, but not too much and the rounded body makes it easy to slip in a pocket.

Stands on its own

The benefit of having the case be a bit thick is that the case can stand on its right side so you don't have to always hold your phone for shots.

Pairing

Just hold the button on the remote for a few seconds and it turns on. Find the remote listed in your Bluetooth settings and select it to pair. Once paired, just launch the native camera app and start shooting.

The remote taps into the volume button to release the shutter. It can be used to take pictures as well as start and stop video. However, when you don't have the Camera app open, it just raises the volume.
