Samsung Galaxy Note
Samsung made a number of announcements at IFA 2011, but one of the more buzz-worthy gadgets was the Samsung Galaxy Note. Running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the Galaxy Note is technically a smartphone, but it also boasts a 5.3-inch Super AMOLED touch screen, which almost puts it in tablet territory.
Hardware
Features of the Galaxy Note include a dual-core 1.4GHz processor, support for Samsung's new ChatOn instant messaging service, and Wi-Fi and HSPA+ support.
Design
Though big for a smartphone, the Galaxy Note is relatively thin. The handset measures 5.74 inches tall by 3.26 inches wide by 0.38 inch thick.
Camera
The Galaxy Note is equipped with a rear-facing 8-megapixel camera that can record 1080p video, as well as a front-facing 2-megapixel camera for video calls.
S Pen
The Galaxy Note also comes with an S Pen accessory and app called S Memo that allows you take notes and draw right on the screen.
