The Samsung Central Station (in this case, called the SyncMaster C23A750X) is essentially a wireless docking station, with a 23-inch monitor attached to it.

The thought is that after taking your laptop away to a meeting (or the coffee shop), upon returning, Central Station will automatically re-sync with your laptop and you can then begin working using its 23-inch display and whichever desktop peripherals (mouse, keyboard) you have plugged into it.

On the top of the footstand reside the navigation controls (top left) as well as the menu, hub, and power buttons. Menu takes you into the OSD for the monitor and HUB accesses Central Station specific controls.
