Rhapsody Beta for Android (photos)
Rhapsody releases a public beta of its new application for Android devices. Here's a closer look.
Rhapsody's welcome screen doesn't mess around. It gets you right into looking for music and start listening to your heart's content.
One browsing option is to check out what's new for the week. You can view the newest items in order, check out staff picks, or see what has just been added.
One of many music browsing options offered. You may also browse by artist or album, and you can access staff- and user-created playlists as well as Rhapsody Channels, dubbed Rhapsody Radio on the Android version.
The Radio playback screen features screen-dominating album art as well as the customary playback controls along the top. You'll notice that going back a track is not an option here--standard streaming radio procedure.
