Welcome to Pinterest, Android users

Pinterest for Android lets you either log in with your existing Pinterest account or create a new account, right from the app.

Getting started

If you opt to create a new account, Pinterest asks you to tap a few pictures, so it can get an idea of which users you might want to follow.

Main screen

The main Pinterest dashboard shows you all of the pins from the people and boards you follow. You can also easily create a pin from here.

Categories

From the main dashboard, swipe right to start browsing through Pinterest by category. The iOS version of the app lists its categories in a menu, rather than a grid.

The stuff you love

Your profile shows all of your boards, pins, and likes. It also shows your About page, which you can't edit from the app.

Account settings

These are the few aspects of your account that you can edit from the Pinterest mobile app. Everything else is locked down and must be accessed from the Web.

Pin from the Web

Android users can use Android's built-in share menu to pin items directly from the Web, barring any glitches, of course.
