World's largest solar boat

The solar-powered boat runs exclusively on energy from the sun and eliminates the need for fueled electricity, allowing researchers to collect uncontaminated data along the Gulf Stream with high-tech instruments that track changes in ocean currents and climate. Solar panels cover more than 5,554 square feet of the ship's surface.
