Photos: SanDisk Sansa slotRadio
SanDisk's new MP3 player, dubbed slotRadio, is anything but ordinary. If you balk at the idea of spending your spare time and energy tailoring playlists, it may be just the ticket.
SanDisk's slotRadio is unlike most MP3 players.
It relies on cards preloaded with 1,000 songs, handpicked by music editors.
If you like to tailor your music completely to your liking, this isn't the player for you. You can skip songs you don't like, but that's about it.
Each card offers a variety of genre- or theme-based stations.
The player has a built-in belt clip to keep it close at hand.
For $99, you can get the slotRadio player, a variety of useful accessories, and a Billboard top hits card with 1,000 tracks.
