Photos: RIM BlackBerry Curve - pale gold (T-Mobile)

Right on the heels of the <a href="http://reviews.cnet.com/smart-phones/rim-blackberry-8820-at/4505-6452_7-32517179.html">RIM BlackBerry 8820</a> announcement for <a href="http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phones/at-38-t-formerly/4505-6454_7-32137726.html">AT&T</a>, <a href="http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phones/t-mobile/4505-6454_7-32137728.html">T-Mobile</a> snagged itself the sweet RIM BlackBerry 8320, aka the BlackBerry Curve with Wi-Fi. We found it to be quite succulent, so take a look at our photo gallery here and then read our review to see if the smart phone leaves your mouth watering.

From the outside, the RIM BlackBerry 8320 for T-Mobile looks much like the original BlackBerry Curve, except for one big difference: it has integrated Wi-Fi! This gives you an alternative to surfing the Web and making calls on T-Mobile's cellular network.

The RIM BlackBerry Curve (aka BlackBerry 8320) for T-Mobile is the best BlackBerry we've seen to date, as it offers Wi-Fi, best-of-breed design, and excellent performance. It's available now for $249.99 with a two-year contract.

We love the design of the RIM BlackBerry Curve. It offers a best-of-breed design that beautifully combines a full QWERTY keyboard into a sleek and compact form factor (4.2 inches high by 2.4 inches wide by 0.6 inch deep; 3.9 ounces).

With its compact dimensions, you'll have no problem slipping the BlackBerry Curve into your bag or pants pocket. T-Mobile also packages the device with a protective case, among other things.

The BlackBerry Curve is comfortable to hold and use as a phone, even though it has a wider body than regular cell phones. The outer edges also have a soft-touch finish to give it a rubbery texture, thus making it easier to grip.

T-Mobile's BlackBerry Curve next to AT&T's BlackBerry Curve. T-Mobile offers the 8320 in two colors: pale gold or titanium.

The RIM BlackBerry Curve features a spacious full QWERTY keyboard for easy messaging. The buttons are a little slippery, but we really had no problems firing off e-mails or text messages.

The BlackBerry 8320 has 64MB of flash memory and a microSD expansion slot. Unfortunately, you have to remove the battery to access the latter, which is a pain.

On back of the device, you'll find the 2-megapixel camera lens, flash, and self-portrait mirror. The Curve took decent photos, but we found that you really need a steady hand to get a clear shot. Also, we're disappointed that there are no video recording capabilities.

The addition of Wi-Fi is a huge boost for the BlackBerry Curve, giving T-Mobile customers another way to surf the Web from their phone. Plus, it works with T-Mobile's HotSpot@Home service so you can make calls over a Wi-Fi network.
