The Motorola Q for Sprint features a new, snazzy charcoal gray color and has a rubberized texture, making it easier to grip and hold.
Other than the new casing and Sprint branding, the rest of the design elements are the same as Verizon's Moto Q.
Though the Samsung BlackJack and the T-Mobile Dash have stolen the spotlight, the Moto Q set the trend for thin QWERTY devices.
The Motorola Q comes with Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone Edition and push e-mail capabilities, so you can work on the go.
Overall, the Q is easy to navigate but some of the controls are set flush with the phone's surface, so you'll want to make sure to press each button firmly to register the action.
The ultrathin Q will have no problem slipping into your bag or pants pocket.
Here are the Sprint and Verizon versions side by side.
On the right side of the device, there is a scroll wheel and a back button that are very reminiscent of the ones found on BlackBerrys.
The Moto Q features a sleek, functional QWERTY keyboard. The number keys are highlighted in silver for easier dialing.
We thought the Samsung BlackJack had a nice keyboard too, but we liked the extra spacing between keys on the Moto Q.
The Sprint Moto Q still sports a 1.3 megapixel camera with a built-in flash, video recording capabilities, and 6x digital zoom.
The Moto Q offers about 60MB of user-accessible memory, but for your music and video files, invest in a microSD card.
