We got an early look at the Infiniti G37, known in Japan as the Skyline. This car is the coupe version of Infiniti's G model, with a little extra power over the G35.
Infiniti took the 3.5-liter V-6 it used in the G35 and bored out the cylinders to up the displacement to 3.7 liters. The resulting engine puts out a breathtaking 330 horsepower at 7,000rpm and 270 ft-lbs. of torque at 5,200rpm.
The cabin of the G37 is decked out with tech and is as luxurious as we would expect from a G model. The car we had came with a five-speed automatic, although the G37 also comes with a six-speed manual.
Another surprise feature on the Infiniti G37 is the Music Box, an in-dash hard drive that lets you store a music library. The interface gives you the kind of control you would expect to get from any MP3 player, but with a much bigger screen.
