If having a hand crank wasn't odd enough, the Baylis Revolution is also unusually thick. Luckily all that room allows space for a large battery capable of 48 hours of audio playback.

The Baylis Revolution's navigation pad uses an offset center button for no apparent reason (style, perhaps?). The offset design doesn't interfere for operation, but it does look a little odd.

If it weren't for the color screen, we'd swear the thick, black box we're holding was a retro cassette Walkman. Fortunately, despite its bulky dimensions, the Baylis Revolution is much more useful than an old tape deck.

Is that a brick in your pocket, or do you just have a ridiculously bulky MP3 player? The Baylis Revolution is better suited for the backpack than the pocket.
