Panasonic's 3D Lumix camera prototype (photos)
The Japanese electronics giant, encouraging people to create their own 3D content, shows off a prototype Lumix 3D camera at the IFA show.
Panasonic showed this prototype compact Lumix camera for shooting 3D photos and videos. The zoom lens runs from the equivalent of 25-100mm, with an aperture range of f3.9 to f5.7. Panasonic showed the 3D Lumix prototype in Berlin at the IFA electronics show.
The top of Panasonic's Lumix 3D prototype shows a video button, zoom switch, stereo microphones, and the logo for the AVCHD video encoding technology.
On the side of Panasonic's 3D camera prototype is an HDMI output port.
The bottom of the 3D Lumix prototype has a tripod mount and a slot for a battery and SDXC card.
