Pal by Clarity is big and bold
Not everything at CTIA 2012 is meant to be the most high-tech and chic device out there. Clarity, a mobile and accessories company aimed at seniors, displayed one such device called Pal.
Pal is a simple feature phone made for an older audience, or for those with disabilities. It will be available starting May 28 online, for $99.
A simple back
As you can see, Pal doesn't sport a rear-facing camera. It is equipped with the essentials, however, like calling and texting. It also has an alarm clock, calculator, and stop watch.
Heart to heart
On the back is an emergency call button, which you can preset to dial either 911 or another number of your choice.
Large-print numbers
The Pal's 2-inch LCD color screen displays numbers in a big, bold font.
Looking trim
The device is lightweight, and it's made out of simple black plastic.
Easy to press
The large black rubber buttons make it very easy to quickly dial a phone number on the Pal.
