Same as it ever was
The body design of the P90 is practically identical to the P80, though the lens and tilting LCD add some weight, pushing it over a pound. The body, though made of textured black plastic, doesn't feel particularly cheap or fragile. It's got a comfortable rubberized grip and you can easily shoot one-handed with it.
A few direct controls
The navigation switch is large, with a clear, tactile delineation between the inner OK button and the outer navigation controls. To access common shooting settings like metering and drive mode, however, you have to go into the menus.
Tiltable LCD
One improvement over last year's design is the incorporation of a tilting LCD that's useful for shooting at low or high angles.
Custom settings slots
The P90 is one of the few consumer cameras that provides a couple of slots on the mode dial for saved sets of custom setting, a feature I find very useful.
