Check out the new Motorola Moto E (pictures)

The new Motorola Moto E proves that you can make a phone affordable without cutting out all of the features. The phone packs an quad-core processor, and LTE connectivity for just $150 (about £100, or AU$194).

The 4.5-inch screen has a 960x540-pixel resolution; that pales in comparison to the 1080p behemoths from Samsung and LG, but it's adequate here.

The 2,390mAh battery isn't removable, but offers up a fair amount of battery life.

The Moto E offers a near stock Android experience -- a rarity at this price point.

The swappable bands make on-the-fly customization easy.

The speakerphone isn't especially loud, but works in a pinch.

You'll want to pick up a microSD card -- there's just 8GB of storage.

There 5-megapixel rear camera lacks a flash, and the photos aren't really up to snuff, either.
