Motorola Admiral (Sprint)
The Motorola Admiral from Sprint offers great design, performance, features, and decent photo quality.
The Admiral offers both a bright 3.1-inch touch screen and a full QWERTY keyboard. This makes it an ideal phone for BlackBerry users who want to move to the Android platform.
The phone's touch screen offers 480x640-pixel resolution, it's scratch-resistant, and even small-font text is very clear and easy to read.
The portrait-orientation full QWERTY keyboard provides great tactile response and quick access to frequently used special symbols, such as @, #, $ or &.
The phone's Direct Connect button on the side (below the volume rocker) offers instant connection to up to 20 DC-enabled users via the phone's push-to-talk feature.
The phone's camera offers decent photo and video (720p) quality. It also includes a LED flash.
The phone features Military Spec 810G trimmings, meaning it can withstand dust, shock, solar radiation, vibration, low pressure, and high and low temperatures. The phone's screen is also scratch-resistant. It's not water-resistant, unfortunately. Note how its standard 3.5mm headset port is covered by a rubber lid.
The phone's image quality is very good when there's good lighting.
When the lighting is low, it depends on the photographer to make the image look good.
