Airstream has been producing travel trailers since 1932, making it one of the oldest names in recreational vehicles.
The International model line runs from 19' up to 31'. Interiors include designs from the likes of Eddie Bauer and this example, by Christopher C. Deam.
This 31' International model shows Airstream's aluminum construction, a signature of its travel trailers. Because of this construction material, much of an Airstream travel trailer is recyclable.
This 19' International features a more modest floorplan, but many of the same amenities as its longer brethren.
An electrically-powered awning stretches across the side of this Airstream. An electric jack at the front makes it easy to level.
The aluminum shell means Airstream travel trailers weather well. This plastic for the windows handles the stresses of the road.
The modern Airstream travel trailer comes with a Samsung LCD television over the dinette. All interior lighting comes from LEDs, which use less electricity and last longer than incandescent lamps, especially when subjected to the rigors of the road.
A digital television antenna sits on top of the trailer, and this Blu-ray player hides in a compartment. Convenient USB ports and AC outlets allow for additional video devices.
Two captain's chairs make for comfortable seating at the front of the trailer, and a fold-up desk makes the left one a work station.
The bed fills the back end of the trailer. USB ports mounted to either side keep tablets and phones charged.
And yes, there is another television in the bedroom.
This trailer enjoys full climate control, with air circulating down from a duct integrated into the roof.
The gallery features a sink, propane-powered stove top, a microwave, and plenty of counter space for traveling gourmets.
The refrigerator is topped by a freezer, and the entire unit can run on propane when stopped in places lacking electric hook-ups.
The shower keeps travelers clean.
There is an outdoor shower for quick wash-ups. A 50 amp electric hook-up will run all the trailers amenities, including air conditioning. The trailer also comes pre-wired for solar panels, which can be used to trickle charge the two auxiliary car batteries.
An external cable jack allows for a full range of entertainment.
If the International model seems too large, Airstream also makes the 16' Sport, nicknamed the Bambi.
