Here you can see the default inbox view for Microsoft's Outlook.com. Messages are listed in the center area, with ads on the right and folders on the left. Flagged messages will remain at the top of your screen and you can view the gray "Quick Action" icons by mousing over each message. Mousing over the sender's name will show a menu with even more actions.

Below your Folders list on the left column is the Quick View section, where you can organize message into categories. A convenient default Shipping Updates category will automatically detect messages with a shipping tracking number and tag them accordingly.
When you link your social media accounts, Outlook.com will pull in any photos and contact information. Then when you receive an e-mail from a linked contact, Outlook.com will show the related status update and tweets on the right side.
