More sides of the LG Spectrum 2

Though it's only $100 at Verizon, the LG Spectrum 2 gives you a lot of bang for your buck. In addition to its dual-core processor, it also has Android 4.0 ICS, an 8-megapixel camera, and 4G LTE data speeds.

Blue steel for blue keys

Below the 4.7-inch True HD IPS display, the Spectrum 2 has four hot keys (for back, home, recent apps, and menu) that light up blue when in use. It also runs LG's Optimus 3.0 UI, which lets you customize icons.

I've got no wires to hold me down

In addition to communicating with other devices via its NFC chip, the handset can also wirelessly charge using a charging pad.

Charge me up, Scotty

It doesn't come included with the handset, but LG's charging pad can be had for about $70 on the company's Web site.

Looking a little thick

The phone measures 5.31 inches tall and 2.69 inches wide. At 0.36 inch thick and weighing in at 5.16 ounces, it's thicker and a bit heavier than most midlevel LG handsets.
