LG's new Door-in-Door fridge does double duty (pictures)
LG's newest Door-in-Door fridge puts a second Door-in-Door beside the first Door-in-Door in a ruthless effort to see how many times they can get me to write Door-in-Door.
LG Dual Door-in-Door Refrigerator
The new Door-in-Door refrigerator from LG offers the feature in both doors. Click through to take a look.
You'll push a button on the front of the fridge to open the right Door-in-Door compartment, but for the door on the left, there's a hidden switch. Open either one, and you'll be able to access the in-door shelves without actually opening the refrigerator.
Here's the fridge with both Door-in-Door compartments opened up.
And here it is with the doors open. The fridge boasts 34 cubic feet of total capacity.
Here's the freezer. With a four-door build like this one, you actually get two freezer compartments.
And there's the ice maker -- the Door-in-Door compartment forced LG to relocate it to the freezer.
There's a control panel on the left door -- but alas, the ice maker is gone. (Don't worry, we'll get to it in a couple of slides.)
The new Dual Door-in-Door refrigerator is expected to arrive sometime later this year, with pricing still to be determined.
