Inside the 'Star Wars' Blu-ray box set (photos)
Clean packaging and classic art: we unbox the "Star Wars: The Complete Saga" Blu-rays.
The "Star Wars" box set: surprisingly clean and minimalist, if "Phantom Menace"-infused. Note the grown Luke superimposed on little Anakin, a nice touch tying together the old and new trilogies.
The look and feel resembles an art book more than a box of discs, appropriate for a film cycle that aspires to be literature.
Each movie gets its own spread of art, along with the disc itself. This is Episode III.
Episode IV's classic character art makes us wish the box set included the untouched original movies.
Bonus discs come with more intriguing bonus art.
A simple pamphlet of the various disc contents, nothing more. No essays, no written text. The collection of various character faces on the back spread makes the saga feel even more tied together than most fans feel like it is.
