iHealth gear at CES: iOS-connected fitness and baby monitors (pictures)
Blood pressure cuffs, pulse oximeters, and wireless baby cameras, all decked out in crisp, clean white at CES 2013.
iBaby Monitor M2
iHealth's latest baby monitor uses magnets to attach its loop-like camera to the base, and giving it room-to-room flexibility. A free iOS app allows monitoring and two-way audio. It's arriving in the second half of 2013.
Care to listen to your baby-to-be? The iBaby Heartsense's detachable fetal Doppler can listen to a baby's heartbeat and transmit the heartbeat to an iOS app, or record the heartbeat to share with others. It'll also be coming later in 2013.
This diabetic tool can record up to 500 glucose test results, transmit the data to an iOS device for tracking, track trends, provide medication reminders, and track expiration dates of test strips. It's also on track for later in 2013.
iHealth's blood-pressure-taking cuff is already available. I was just curious to try it because I have high blood pressure. The device fits snugly and works wirelessly, and has one of the sleeker designs out there.
