A big, bold display

With its pumped-up Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor and big 4.7-inch LCD screen, the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean One X+ is hard to ignore.

Slim and trim

Part of the trade-off with an embedded battery is the HTC One X+'s slim 0.35-inch thickness.

A lone power button

On the HTC One X+'s top edge is its power button. Though it's hard to see, also placed here is a 3.5mm headphone jack to the right.

A basic black back

The back of the HTC One X+ is charcoal black and holds the phone's 8-megapixel camera and LED flash.

Insert your SIM

On the top lip of the HTC One X+'s back is the phone's micro-SIM card slot. You'll have to pop it open with the tool HTC provides.

Flexible camera, imaging muscle

One of the best attributes of the HTC One X+ is its full-featured 8-megapixel camera. It boasts many extras, including panorama, HDR, and burst modes, along with lots of filters and swift performance.

Draw it to say it

Using the HTC One X+'s portrait keyboard with the Trace text-entry interface lets you form words by drawing lines through letters.

What's on to watch

The HTC Watch app and video store serve up movies to rent and buy.

An entertaining screen

The HTC One X+'s big 4.7-inch screen is bright, though at a resolution of 720p, it's not as sharp as competing 1080p displays. Still, it's not bad.
