HTC's 1H 2010 Android roadmap revealed

Oops, they did it again. After its 2009 roadmap was leaked in January this year, it seems someone at HTC has left the safe unlocked again and now the world can see what the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer has up its sleeve in regards to Android releases for the first half of 2010.

According to Android and Me, the images are scanned from a brochure handed out in Vienna, Austria (of all places). With the pics were lists of the exact specifications for these models, which you can check out over at the Android fan site. But before you do, set your jaws to drool while we peruse the HTC Android's of the (near) future.

The name reminds us of that creepy Tom Cruise movie, but with less huge-horned devil. The Legend looks to be the spiritual successor to the Magic and Hero handsets of this year. It appears to sport the same Jay Leno-like chin, with an optical mouse pad replacing the trackball that we've seen throughout 2009.

Size and specs match the Hero fairly closely, with a 3.2-inch capacitive display (now using AMOLED technology), a 5-megapixel camera and a still disappointing lack of internal storage.

It might be bone white, but the Salsa looks as business-like as the HTC Snap with its QWERTY candybar form factor. Above the keyboard is a 2.6-inch QVGA touchscreen.

Perhaps not the most exciting in the roadmap, the Tide is still an Android phone like we haven't seen before. Its 2.68-inch screen is touch sensitive, and below it we find a numeric keypad for dialling and text input. It has a 3-megapixel camera, and though the screen is turned off in the image we think it's running HTC's Sense UI based on the software that comes pre-installed with it.

Those who thought the customisable battery covers on the HTC Tattoo was a good idea will love the Buzz. It comes with the same customisable coolness, but does so with a larger (3.2-inch) touchscreen and a 5-megapixel camera.

Appropriately titled, the Bravo is not only the final phone in the leaked document, but it is also the one likely to earn HTC applause. The Bravo is the big daddy of the bunch, packing a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 3.7-inch capacitive AMOLED touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording and still no internal storage. HTC does, however, promise to put a 16GB SD card in the box.
