HTC HD7 (T-Mobile)

The T-Mobile HD7 is the carrier's first Windows Phone 7 device. It will be available on November 8 for $199.99 with a two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.

T-Mobile will also offer a second Windows Phone 7 handset, the Dell Venue Pro, later this holiday season.

Features

In addition to Windows Phone 7, the HD7 comes preloaded with Netflix, Slacker Radio, and T-Mobile TV, among others. However, not much has changed about the hardware as it shares the same screen, processor, and battery as its predecessor, the HTC HD2.

Design

The HTC HD7 measures 4.8 inches tall by 2.7 inches wide by 0.4 thick and weighs 5.7 ounces, so it's a bit on the bulkier and heavier side. The upside is that you get a spacious 4.3-inch touch screen. We just wish it was slighter sharper and brighter.

Kickstand

The HD7 features a built-in kickstand so you can place the phone on a table and easily view your videos hands-free.

Picture quality

We weren't particularly thrilled with the picture quality. Images were a bit grainy and also had a pinkish hue to them. The camera did better with outdoor shots, however.
