The Freestyle looks like many an HTC smartphone, but it's really a midrange device built for messaging and basic media.
The 3.2-inch display is bright, while the resolution is pretty standard. Below are calling controls and a back key.
The Freestyle has a solid, comfortable feel in the hand. It's easily portable, too.
The Freestyle doesn't have the best keyboard. It's small, we don't like the black background, and it lacks an accelerometer.
A metal skin covers most of the Freestyle's back. The ends are plastic, but they're covered in a nice soft-touch material. The camera lens sits next to the small speaker.
On the left spine is the long volume rocker.
