It's the month of July, and in tech journalism that means only one thing: Christmas! Due to the length of time it takes for magazines to assemble their Christmas supplements, this month is always chock-full of companies throwing events to show off what they will be pushing this yuletide. As Amazon sells almost everything these days, it's one of the better indicators as to what's going to be hot.

This year the tech side of things was all about the accessories, and the gear from the House of Marley was the best I saw there. The 'Bag of Rhythm' 40W iPhone/iPod dock pictured above was the standout product. With a nice green bag, carry handle, shoulder strap, rechargeable battery and curved wood design, it almost seemed worth the £299 asking price.

There were a few other bits of Marley gear on show, plus a bunch of gadgety kids' toys, a waterproof iPad case and more. Click through the pictures above to see the product highlights and prices.

And when you're done with that, here's a hands-on video of the Bag Of Rhythm from when Luke saw it at CES:

It comes in a rather natty bag with comfortable handles to cart it around.

There's also a shoulder strap so fools like this can listen on the move.

The Get Up Stand Up iPod/iPhone/iPad dock is the next step up and it goes pretty loud.

There's a remote control that lives in this little hidey-hole at the top.

Also part of the Jammin' Collection (ugh), the Chant will sell for about £50.

It can be powered by USB, has a rechargable battery and a 3.5mm audio-in jack.

A reminder that Bang & Olufsen doesn't just make ugly tellies, the Beolit 12 is astonishingly expensive at £599, but supports Apple's wireless music system AirPlay.

Lifedge is the name on this £95 case, which keeps iPads safe from 1m-deep water for 30 minutes. Cool for the pool.

A cool grand gets you the Stewart Golf Lithium Trolley, which moves your clubs around the golf course when you press the remote button.

Swimmers can strap the Finis Hydro Tracker GPS to their arm and download the info to their computer afterwards to see where they've been -- £120.

These three products are essentially cheap iPads for kids. The Leapster GS, LeapPad 2 and InnoTab 2 all run a selection of child-friendly games and utilities, and are under £100.

The iTikes Discover Map lets kids prod with a stylus at different maps to answer questions. There's also an iPhone/iPod touch attachment for an accompanying app.

Star Wars Scalextric Battle of Endor Race Set -- £100. 'Nuff said.

The £480 Eco-Stepper folding electric bike has a maximum range of 30 miles per charge and folds up small enough for a car boot, although at 21kg you're not going to want to carry it around.

This rude-looking contraption purifies water. For £60, the Steripen Classic Safe Water Portable UV Water Purifier uses ultaviolet light to make dodgy water safe to drink.

This absolutely isn't Lego -- it's legally different. Mmm. Anyway, the £150 Character Building Wembley Stadium will take a while to put together.
