Google Keep for Android is here (pictures)
We take a look at Google's new note-taking app for Android.
Main interface
Google Keep opens up to a grid of your notes and simple toolbar up top. The interface is clean and easy to use.
Where did the toolbar go?
Sometimes it stays pinned to the top. Other times it disappears without warning. Google Keep's toolbar needs to learn to behave itself.
Checklists
Add check boxes to any of your notes.
Colors
Google Keep lets you color code your notes. Perhaps in future versions, it will let you pick custom colors.
Landscape mode
It's always a pleasure to see an app work just as well in landscape mode. Also note that the toolbar is pinned to the top of the screen.
Count 'em
That's four photos attached to this note.
Voice notes
Hit the voice button and start speaking. Google Keep will transcribe what you say and include it in the note. If you're using a device running Android 4.2 or higher, it will even keep a recording of what you say embedded in the note.
