The GoCharge unit has about the same footprint as a business card and fits nicely into a pocket when closed.
Opened
To use the GoCharge in a car, simply slide the translucent cover back to reveal an integrated 12-volt adapter.
Twin USB ports
While plugged in, users can charge two additional USB accessories with the GoCharge's twin-powered USB ports.
Power switch
By flipping a power switch on the base of the unit, users can also use the GoCharge as an external battery pack for charging other devices outside of the vehicle.
Battery meter
On the back of the unit is a four-bar charge state indicator.
Check battery button
By pressing a button, users can illuminate the meter and view the charge state. Here, we're at a 50-percent charge.
LED flashlight
On the business end of the GoCharge is a four-LED flashlight.
Busted button
Unfortunately, our unit's power button was loose requiring that we maintained constant pressure to illuminate the torch.
Not all USB cables are created equally.
Another issue that we ran into was with the included Mini-USB cable, which got stuck in another device during testing and eventually broke.
