Fotonica has a line-based artistic style (pictures)
This endless runner uses graphics from the past to create a world that's still undeniably futuristic.
Fontonica for iOS
Fotonica is an iOS game designed to look like it's from the past, but it has a futuristic feel to the gameplay and beat-pumping music that makes it a great experience.
Launch screen
The first screen you see when you launch the app is pretty bare, as is the rest of the app.
Modes
Three game modes and plenty of challenge make for a never-ending runner that keeps you coming back for more.
Eight total levels
Before you can continue throughout the remaining levels, you'll need to pass the first two levels. After completing the game, you can go back and try to best your high score.
The interface
While it may not look like much, this is the beginning of a level. The vertical lines along the side are meant to distract. The pathway in front of you is all you need to focus on, if you can.
Warp speed
Randomly, a golden mode is enabled as you play, speeding up the levels and making the game that much harder.
Versus
Versus mode splits the screen of your iPhone or iPad, allowing you to play against someone across the table from you. Arguably, it's even more confusing than the regular game.
