Feedly for Android: A prettier mobile RSS reader (pictures)
We take a look at Feedly for Android, one of the best Google Reader replacements out there.
Magazinelike interface
Feedly's large images and creative layouts almost make you feel like you're reading a magazine.
Lists and thumbnails
Even Feedly's list view is relatively attractive compared with what you get from many other apps in its category.
Easy to navigate
With the tabs on the left, you can easily navigate between categories and individual sites. Unfortunately, though, there's no two-panel view that would keep the navigation on the left while you're reading.
Reading view
Individual posts look nice in the reading view. From here, you can save the post to Pocket or Instapaper, share it, or open it up in your browser.
Gesture-based shortcuts
Feedly supports gestures for quickly marking items as Read and Unread.
Widget
Feedly comes with home page widgets that show you recent posts, and you can set the refresh rate.
Easy to subscribe
To subscribe, simply tap the "+" button on the right. This is easy enough, but it would be nice to be able to subscribe to entire categories at once.
Curated collections
Feedly's curated collections offer a nice assortment of sites to get you started.
