Feast your eyes on the fancy Frigidaire Professional Slow Cooker (pictures)

If you're looking for a slightly more elegant take on the humble slow cooker, then the $99 Frigidaire Professional might be the appliance for you.

With a 7-quart ceramic crock, you'll be able to feed the whole family and then some.

With the Frigidaire Professional, you'll cook using one of four presets: Low, Medium, High, or Soup. Each preset comes with a default time that you can adjust. Once the timer reaches zero, the cooker will automatically switch into Warm mode. Buffet mode will also keep dishes warm and runs slightly hotter than Warm mode.

The Frigidaire Professional sports an attractive stainless steel finish, with classy-looking chrome handles. The cooker gets very hot, though, and the handles offer little protection from scorching yourself.

The glass lid is another nice touch, allowing you to keep an eye on your food while it cooks without letting any heat out. We wish that Frigidaire would have included a place to insert a meat thermometer, though.

At an MSRP of $99, the Frigidaire Professional will certainly cost you more than the average set-and-forget style slow cooker. For the extra money, you're getting the designer appearance, along with a few additional cooking presets.
