Etymotic intros hf3 and new mc series earphones (photos)
Etymotic is adding iPod controls to its hf line and releasing a whole new mc line.
The Etymotic hf3 is a follow-up to the hf2. The inner workings and sound quality are the same, but there is one key difference.
The hf3 integrates a three-button inline remote for use with the iPhone and iPod Touch. You can control playback, adjust volume, and access phone functions.
In addition to the iPhone remote capability for its hf series, Etymotic introduced an all new line of earphones, the mc series.
The mc series comes in a variety of colors, including a green version not pictured here.
The big news is pricing: the mc5 pictured here will cost just $80. And initial testing is looking good for sound quality.
