Easily pocketable Nikon Coolpix S6500 (pictures)
Nikon added a new Wi-Fi-enabled Coolpix to its lineup at CES 2013, the 12x zoom S6500.

LAS VEGAS--The S6500 is very similar to one of Nikon's existing Coolpix cameras, the S6400, but adds Wi-Fi and some new beauty effects.
Wireless features
The built-in wireless allows you to directly connect to an Android or iOS device and transfer photos and movies to them using Nikon's Wireless Mobile Utility app. The app can also be used to remotely control the camera from more than 30 feet away.
Control
The controls are pretty much the same as you'd find on any Coolpix camera, including a one-press record button for capturing 1080p HD movies. Unlike the S6400, the 3-inch LCD on the S6500 isn't a touch screen.
Lens
The little lightweight camera features a 12x f3.1-6.5 25-300mm lens with optical image stabilization.
Thin
Though not the thinnest 12x zoom around, the S6500 is easily pocketable.
Availability
The Nikon Coolpix S6500 will be in stores by the end of January for $199.95.
