Google Takeout now lets you back up voice mail messages, text messages, and forwarding numbers from Google Voice. Export your data with this quick tip.
Download your Google Voice data with Takeout
With Google Takeout, "voice mail messages are exported as MP3s, text messages as microformatted HTML, and forwarding numbers as a vCard," Google announced on its official blog.
Follow this slideshow to get started.
Log in to your Google account, and head to Google.com/Takeout. Select the "Choose services" tab.
Select services to back up
Click the "Voice" button. Here, you can also select other services you'd like to back up, such as Google+.
Create data archive
Download your Google Voice data
Press "Download" next to the data you want to export. You'll be asked to sign in again, and when you do, your download will begin immediately.
Success
Open the download folder, and you'll find your voice mail messages, text messages, and forwarding numbers in a folder titled with your e-mail address.
