Daihatsu D-X: honey I shrunk the convertible, again

Apart from the steering wheel, seats and pedals, everything about this coupe convertible is tiny.

Daihatsu is no longer sold in Australia. A shame, really, because if the D-X ever makes it to production, we won't ever see it in a showroom.

The little convertible transforms into a coupe thanks to its two-piece folding roof.

The tiny D-X is powered by an equally minuscule two-cylinder turbo engine.

There's not much to the car's rather spartan cabin, but it should seat two not-overly-large individuals in reasonable comfort.

One day the D-X could replace the Copen that's still on sale in Japan.
