Brighten things up with Philips' 75W and 100W replacement LEDs (pictures)

These bigger, brighter LEDs from Philips are designed for higher-than-average light output, and now that they're Energy Star certified they'll be available for lower-than-average prices.

Both the 75W and 100W replacement LEDs are noticeably larger than Philips' 60W replacement.

Both bulbs are separated into three sections for more efficient heat dissipation.

With 1,220 lumens of light output, the Philips 75W replacement LED is more than bright enough. 75W incandescents typically put out about 1,100 lumens.

Like the 75W replacement, Philips' 100W replacement LED glows at a warm, soft white color temperature of 2,700 K.

With 1,680 lumens of light, the 100W replacement LED shines even brighter than a 100W incandescent, which will typically put out about 1,500 lumens.

Thanks to Energy Star certification, both bulbs qualify for rebates in regions of the country that offer them. Combine that with exclusive price cuts at Home Depot, and you'll be able to find the 75W replacement for under $10 in some areas. The 100W replacement isn't much more, with a price tag under $15.
