Our main problem with the Blu Speed is its design. It has a rather cheap construction, with a bland design that does it no favors in the looks department.

The Blu Speed has a decent keyboard, but we thought the optical mouse took some getting used to. The user interface is just OK.

Front facing camera

Though you can't quite see it here, there's a VGA front-facing camera on the top right, which you can use for video calls. This is quite an amazing feature for a simple messaging phone like this. It even comes preloaded with Skype Mobile.
