Black & Decker puts a handheld into its Lithium powered stick vac
Standing like an upright and moving like a stick, Black & Decker's new vac comes with plenty of versatility.
The $300 Black & Decker 36V Max Lithium Stick Vacuum with ORA Technology includes a removable handheld for small jobs, and can stand on its own when you need a break from big ones.
UK and Australian pricing and availability have yet to be announced, but the US price roughly converts to £197, AU$378.
ORA stands for Optimized Runtime and Airflow. The battery maintains its suction as it loses its charge.
You'll set the vacuum on a separate stand while it charges.
You'll need to put the stand within a cord's reach of an outlet.
The vacuum sits easily on the base.
Once charged, you can hit the power button on the top to get started. The bottom button switches the brushroll on or off.
A separate hand vac pulls free from the main handle. The battery level indicator on the left lights up to indicate how much power you have left.
Press a button on the handle to remove the smaller vac.
All of the pieces come apart easily for cleaning and maintenance.
The dust bin lid swings open for emptying.
You can remove the plastic on the other side of the hand vac to pop out the filter and access the motor.
Even the brushroll detaches to help get rid of tangles quickly.
Snap it all back into the handle when you're done.
The Black & Decker 36V Max Lithium Stick Vacuum with ORA Technology provides versatility in a compact frame.
