Beyond E-Tech Duet D8
If you look at it long enough, the Duet D8 looks vaguely like the iPhone.
Though it's bright enough, the D8's display is too small for a touch-screen phone.
The D8's volume rockers rests on its right spine.
The D8's camera lens sits on its back between stereo speakers. We liked the soft touch material on the battery cover.
The D8's virtual dialpad is relatively easy to use.
In contrast, the virtual keybaord is painfully small.
The D8's menu interface has an intuitive design on the surface, but internal menus can be cumbersome.
The Duet travels well.
The D8 doesn't offer a flash or a self-portrait mirror.
