Best budget Bluetooth speakers

There are lots of inexpensive Bluetooth speakers -- hundreds, if not more -- and of course some are much better than others. While we haven't reviewed every single one, here are our top picks from the ones we've heard.

As always, feel free to suggest models you like (that cost less than $100 in this case) and we'll do our best to check them out and possibly review them.

Divoom Voombox Travel

While it exhibits some small sound flaws at higher volumes, Divoom's $50 Voombox Travel is solidly built, water-resistant, and serves up big sound for its size.

Philips BT2500

Philips makes a couple of slim, travel-friendly Bluetooth speakers  -- the BT2500 and BT3500. The sub-$50 BT2500 doesn't sound quite as good as its larger sibling, but it is more travel-friendly.

Yes, there are plenty of "generic" Bluetooth speakers out there, including this Amazon-branded Basics Portable Bluetooth Speaker. It's one of the better ones for $60.

Grace Digital's unpronounceable Ecoxgear Ecoxbt is made for the patio or pool, not the home office (that's a polite way of saying it's not the sleekest looking speaker). Down from $130, it qualifies for this list because you can find it online for around $95.
