The Audio Technica AT-LP120-USB is a classically appointed turntable that takes more than a few design cues from the legendary Technics SL-1200MK2.

Along with high-end features such as a high-torque direct drive motor, dual magnet phono cartridge, stroboscopic platter indicator, reverse playback, and multiple playback speeds (33, 45, and 78), the turntable also boasts a USB connection for recording directly to your computer.

The Audio Technica AT-LP120-USB turntable is available now for $429.

Here you can see the turntables start button, stroboscopic platter, and speed selector--all of which are styled after the classic Technics SL-1200MK2 turntable.

Again, similar to the Technics SL-1200MK2, the Audio Technica deck includes a pop-out lamp that helps with playing records in low-light conditions (you know, romantic lighting).

Here's a shot of the turntable with the cover lifted. Compared with the Technics SL-1200MK2 turntable it emulates, the Audio Technica deck has a slightly smaller footprint.

The cartridge included with the Audio Technica AT-LP120 is an integral dual-magnet type with a replaceable stylus.

Aside from USB connectivity, one of the other differentiating features of the Audio Technica AT-LP120 is an adjustable pitch control with selectable 10% and 20% value ranges. A quartz lock feature is also included.

All the nerdy adjustments you'd expect in a high-end turntable are here, including anti-skate and tone arm balancing.

On the back, a USB output, RCA outs (not pictured) and a selector switch for a line level or phono level signal.
