You can't dispute that the iPad has a gorgeous display with rich colors and a vibrant resolution.
The iPad's design similarities with the iPhone are immediately obvious, from the single Home button to the black border around the display.
Keep in mind, however, that the iPad is about six times larger than the iPhone.
Just keep a firm grip on the iPad when holding it. It's made from high-quality materials, but we'd take great care not to drop it.
Of course the iPad is portable, but you'll need a rather large bag for carrying it about.
The iPad (upper left) makes your average MacBook look enormous and it's larger than most e-book readers, like the Amazon Kindle. On the other hand, it's smaller than the JooJoo tablet (bottom left).
The iPad is almost the same size as an issue of National Geographic. And you can use it to access more than month's content.
On the top of the iPad you'll find the headphone jack, a microphone, and the screen lock button.
The 30-pin dock connector and the speaker are on the bottom of the iPad.
