Androids at Google I/O (photos)

Just as Android pins were a hot commodity at the 2011 Mobile World Congress, collectible Android figures were a top attraction at Google I/O 2011 in San Francisco.

Kent German
Kent was a senior managing editor at CNET News. A veteran of CNET since 2003, he reviewed the first iPhone and worked in both the London and San Francisco offices. When not working, he's planning his next vacation, walking his dog or watching planes land at the airport (yes, really).

The one and original

One of the top sights at Google I/O is the display case of Android phones from around the world. And joining the handsets this year were a selection of collectible Android figures. The Bug Droids (as Google likes to call them) come in a range of colors and styles, from cute to a little strange. If you'd like to buy your own set, a company called Dyzplastic makes the official Google-sanctioned products.

Here's the little guy that started it all. You know him best in green, but he comes in blue as well.
