Collections

Lightroom mobile is based around collections which you selectively enable for syncing as well as selectively enable for offline work. You can add photos from your Camera Roll as well, which will sync them back to Lightroom desktop.

Filmstrip view

For each image you can share, delete, or move and copy between local collections. You can also launch a slideshow from a particular photo. (You can't see the adjustment controls on the bottom of the screen because they're blocked by our slideshow template.)

Presentation mode and Grid view

The software has a demo mode that displays a big red dot under your finger for allowing the audience to follow along. This also shows the standard Grid view layout.

Offline editing

Lightroom mobile downloads the low-resolution proxies on an as-needed basis; to edit without a network connection you must enable offline editing, which can take a lot of the iPad's limited memory if you bought a 16GB version like I did. This view doesn't take advantage of the extra space in landscape mode, unfortunately.

Sharing

Sharing options are limited to what iOS' API allows, which means no direct upload to many sharing sites. (You can't see the adjustment controls on the bottom of the screen because they're blocked by our slideshow template.)

Slideshows
