The indestructable Kyocera DuraXT
The Kyocera DuraXT by Sprint is a clamshell feature phone that can withstand a good dunk or two.
Opened up
The DuraXT sports a 2-inch QVGA display, a 1-inch external display, and an alphanumeric keypad.
A decent camera
The DuraXT's rear-facing camera, though only 3.2-megapixel, is surprisingly decent.
Comfortable keys
The Kyocera DuraXT's keypad is comfortable and graciously spaced out.
Getting a handle
Because it's a rugged device, the DuraXT is on the bulky side, weighing in at 5.3 ounces.
Sealed and locked
The toggle switch in the rear keeps the Kyocera DuraXT's back plate secured and sealed.
No use for headphones
The DuraXT sports a 2.5mm headphone jack -- useful for PTT headsets, but incompatible with your standard pair of headphones.
Rubber encasing
The DuraXT's rubber build ensures that it'll keep ticking after a good beating, but it's not the most attractive handset.
