2014 Ford Fiesta gets by on three cylinders (pictures)
With the EcoBoost option in the SE-trim Fiesta, Ford cranks 123 horsepower from a tiny 1-liter three-cylinder engine.
The Fiesta is Ford's smallest car sold in the US, and the 2014 model is available with the company's smallest engine.
The EcoBoost 1-liter engine comes as a $995 option for the SE-trim Fiesta.
Although only 1-liter and three cylinders, the engine gives more output, 123 horsepower, than the Fiesta's standard 1.6-liter engine.
Ford offers the Fiesta EcoBoost in sedan or hatchback body styles.
With the EcoBoost option, the trim name changes to SFE.
