The new Murano CrossCabriolet is unlike anything on the road. We're split on whether that's a good thing or not.
Starting with the Murano crossover, Nissan has chopped the top and ended up with with...well, we're not sure what to call it.
Out back, the CrossCabriolet features handsome boomerang tail lamps, but the C-pillars look a bit abruptly chopped for our tastes.
The CrossCabriolet's interior will be familiar to anyone who has seen a fully loaded Murano.
Power comes from Nissan's V-6 engine and is output through all four wheels.
Nissan plans to put the CrossCabriolet into production--and fast--with the first example hitting showroom floors in early 2011.
The thing about the CrossCabriolet is that its scale is difficult to convey in photos. Here we have the massive convertible next to the well over 6-foot Brian Cooley--makes him look a bit teeny.
