Yahoo puts Meedio to good use: DVR software

Now that the has proved somewhat of a disappointing stopgap, Yahoo's rushing to fill the DVR void with its free Yahoo Go for TV software, which turns your PC into a DVR. With one fell swoop, the software will likely take a chunk out of Media Center's momentum and, very possibly, put a good-size dent in Yahoo's content-sharing relationship with TiVo. Which is all fine, because frankly, this release is cool. I mean, you know, it would be a whole lot cooler if it didn't have such a stupid name. But it's still pretty cool.
