Xcode 2.4 released: Stability and performance enhancements

Apple has released Xcode 2.4, a new release of the Integrated Development Environment for Mac OS X.

The download notes indicate that this update provides overall stability and performance enhancements to the Xcode IDE, and is a recommended update for all Xcode users.

This update also includes newly added support for 64-bit Macs.

The new release is available as a 915 MB standalone download for ADC (Apple Developer Connection) members.
